Client: Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI)

A New Era of Healing and Hope is an 11,000-word report commissioned to showcase the transformative work done at HMHI. I was tasked with proofreading the report during its final stages of design. Long-form content presents unique challenges, particularly in maintaining consistency, especially when multiple authors and stakeholders contribute to different sections. Errors can easily slip through the cracks within large volumes of text. Therefore, it is crucial to meticulously review the text line by line and as a whole to ensure a cohesive narrative.

In this project, I meticulously reviewed the report against the University of Utah Health in-house style guide. My focus included assessing tone, voice, spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and overall style coherence. Working within a PDF format, I utilized Adobe's built-in commenting tools to highlight errors, pose questions, and offer suggestions.

With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the text, I ensured that the final report reflected the professionalism and quality expected by HMHI.
